MPS Photography ...all things Photographic.

When I was a kid...
Born and raised in Bucks County, my love of the arts began at a young age.
I started drawing as soon as I could hold a pencil. I received my first camera at age 11, and I haven't stopped taking pictures since. I went on to study Fine Art obtaining my Associates & Bachelor Degrees in Fine Arts and Photography from Bucks County Community College and Kutztown University in 1995. After graduating, I began working with a well known commercial photography business in Bensalem, PA. On evenings and weekends I worked as a photography assistant for local wedding and portrait photographers.

Those that CAN...
In the Spring of 1999, the internet was picking up steam and I wanted to
be a part of it. I began working at one of the world's largest e-commerce providers in King of Prussia, PA as a Digital Photographer shooting products from some of the biggest names in retail. I still made time on the weekends to go out on my own shooting weddings and events. In the Fall of 2007, an exciting opportunity was presented to me. I became a full-time Digital Media instructor at the Central Montco Technical High School in Plymouth Meeting, PA. Here, I work with high school students teaching Graphic Design and Digital Photography while also keeping my own skills current as an artist. That same year, I decided to go solo and start MPS Photography spending my weekends and summers photographing weddings and events.

My Philosophy…
I enjoy the experience of meeting clients and sharing in their excitement when I photograph their products, businesses, and marketing materials. When it comes to wedding and event photography, I find it an honor to be asked to share in such a meaningful and important event. I believe that my personality enables me to help create a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere where all of my subjects feel free to be themselves and let the moments happen naturally. My style includes a balance of traditional portraiture and photojournalism. This unique combination allows me to capture spontaneous and hilarious happenings as well as the tender and sweet moments you will want to remember forever. I love to use my surroundings to create one-of-a-kind shots, for instance the bride and groom at the keyboard of an old piano, or friends clinking glasses at the bar to commemorate the special occasion. I strive to document the day's story in a low-profile manner so my clients can enjoy themselves while not missing a thing.

Thanks for visiting and I look forward to hearing from you!
